Serious question about a condom?

My boyfriend and I had yesterday. We checked the condom and it had no holes or anything. It fit fine. We put it on the right way too. He never c**s inside the condom also, because we don't want to even make a greater chance of something going wrong. When we were finished though, and he took the condom off, a lot of thin liquid came out of it. He never came, so what was the liquid? Was it lubricant? Was it from me? I am just worried. We even checked to see if there was a hole in it, and there was not even the tinniest hole. Please, serious answers.
