Can you guess a Central Asian country according to the description of men's clothing 100 years ago?
I'm interested in what kind of clothes did men wear in Central Asia. It is said in my source that they wore 'white turbans and multicolored silk robes, that were so light that you could wear them on top of each other and the more you wear the richer you look'. It is also mentioned that it was a tradition to gift robe to another person. It can be any Central Asian country: Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan or North Pakistan, however I can't work out which country wore these clothes 100 years ago. I know only it's an Islamic country and women wore black burqas with 'white spreadsheets' completely covering their body. Many people in that country have blue eyes.
