Got my cartilage pierced two days ago?

I got a double cartilage piercing done at once at Piercing Pagoda, and yes they used a gun, don't go on telling me I shouldn't have, a lot of people have done it and it turned out fine. I got the upper one first, and below it a few minutes afterward. I've been having normal pains and I'm unable to sleep on that side. Today, two days after getting it done, the bottom piercing feels fine, but the top one hurts really bad. It's kind of swollen so I've been putting ice on it. Is this normal? I'm scared it might be infected.
