I want to dye my hair or peirce my ear but my dad wont let me what do i do?

ok so i wanted to dye my hair for years now and my dad would not let me.he finally cracked and he let me highlight it which sucked.he cracked again and let me dye half my had like the front.what can i do to convince him?people tell me the same thing and say just tell em its a personal decision blah blah blah.i need somthing that will really work.peircing my ear is out of the question but if you want to throw somthing in there about trying to convince him to let me do that please do it.thank you
