The law works like science. It's not what you think. It's what the evidence, the facts, point to. There just wasn't enough evidence to prosecute for anything more than maybe manslaughter, if that. There didn't seem to be any evidence besides here say to tie the mom with the daughter's death. Based on what was presented at trial, I'd have to give the same verdict as the jury did ...no matter how I felt about that verdict. The facts, honesty and my own personal integrity are more important than my opinion.
