My dog got very, very sick he eats purina puppy chow, has anyone else had problems with any foods or snacks?

my min. pom became very ill overnight and almost died. he had to be in an animal hospital for six days. eventually had to have a blood transfusion. he eats purina puppy chow(dry) and for snacks he has meaty bone (del-monte), marrow bone (pedigree), peanut er snacks (gpc), rawhide twists (wal-mart), and people crackers (seargents). none of these are on the recall list but wondered if anyone else has had any problems with their dog becoming ill after eating any of these things.
