Why does the meling points of the allkali metals decrease from Li to Cs?

a)alkali metals is held by metallic bond.metallic bond is form between the attraction of sea of delocolised electrones with the nucleus..down the group,the size of the metals increase and make less attraction and the metallic bond decrease down the group..it make the melting point decrease down the group.
