i had it done at about 19 weeks, they thought the baby had edwards syndrome(thankfully he didnt) now i do not dow what the needle looked like. i wouldnt look. but as far as getting it done, it just felt like any other shot, just in your belly. there was soreness afterwards. and a bruise on the belly. i felt a little knot there and called the doctor but aparetnly it was just amniotic fluid brought up to the surface so it was ok. theres not a whole lot of care afterward. i just would lay there and wait for the baby to move constantly to yre myself that he was still moving as i was worried about where the needle had been in my stomahc. they are not watching on the machine while they are doing it, but leading up to putting the needle in, they are completly aware of where the baby is at at all tiems, and they monitor you for quite a while. my husband was there with me the whole time and didnt take his eyes off the doctor at all(at the time that upset me, i needed him to hold my hand and tell me everything was ok, but now i know why he did it) and he said the doctor was very careful and very precise. he didnt make a movement without checking himself first. i wouldnt get one if you didnt need it, btu since you do, you will be safe with a capable doctor.

I have a question medical question and want to know if my doctor was right?

I was diagnosed with a slightly enlarged atrium, a mitral valve prolaps and atrial fibrillation which are under control by taking Cordarone. My problem is that when I pickup something or push something heavy, my heart start to beat rapidly as if my heart is trying to go back into a-fib. My doctor told me that a sudden increase in my blood pressure by standing up to quickly or by pushing or lifting can cause the blood to push up against the wall of the enlarged atrium causing my heart to beat rapidly and the medication (Cordarone) is keeping my a-fib under control by converting the beat back to normal. However, when I ask him to put it in writing, he refuses and will only write that I have a-fib. My question is, do you think he's full of crap? Could this really happen and how do I find supporting doentation to this effect? Thank you...

Why are my Windows 7 files randomly being deleted, or diappearing?!?!?

I recently restored my computer, and had all of my downloaded files on a drive, that i plugged into my computer after my pc was in operation.... i double-checked them all once i plugged it in, and they were all there. But now, some are gone! all of the exe's in some folders have disappeared entirely from my pc, but not the readme files. is there some software that goes in and deletes exe files? its really maddening, they cost money! Any help would be appreciated. Oh yeah, one time it only showed my hard drive and the folders directly inside of it, but everything in those folders was completely gone. 2002 focus svt manual transmission issue... engine over revs in 5 and 6th.?

I just had my manual transmission replaced on the focus svt. It feels good in 1st through 4th, but when I shift it into 5th the engine revs higher than usual. I also try in sixth and the same thing. Is this a normal issue with new clutch replacement, maybe shift linkage or something? It also feels like there is more play in my shifter. any ideas.? I'll be in 4th at normal rpm, say 4000, then shift to 5th, and shoots up to 5000, same in 6th.

Does the beginning of my story go too fast?

It's too quick. the reader would enjoy it more if they slowly discover the character and it gives a sense of intrigue. It seems like a solid story line but it kinda feels like you're trying to stuff 2 much info into the smallest text available. Our county has denied every major subdivision over the last 8 months because of faulty road rules. Serious question about a condom?

What should I paint my plaster pool with?

I saw videos online where people use various paints or epoxy paints (2 part mixes) to paint their pools. I wanted to do this as my pool is 12 years old and has had some algae blooms (previous owners) where even after you scrub it clean and your balance and sanitation is right, the plaster is just stained. Got my cartilage pierced two days ago?

I got a double cartilage piercing done at once at Piercing Pagoda, and yes they used a gun, don't go on telling me I shouldn't have, a lot of people have done it and it turned out fine. I got the upper one first, and below it a few minutes afterward. I've been having normal pains and I'm unable to sleep on that side. Today, two days after getting it done, the bottom piercing feels fine, but the top one hurts really bad. It's kind of swollen so I've been putting ice on it. Is this normal? That really depends on your lifestyle. Will you use the dance floor more than you would the pin-ball machine, the booths? I've done homes with dance floors for people who have ballroom, line dancing and salsa as a hobby and they constantly use their floors. But, I've had other clients who "thought" it would be nice to have a dance floor installed only to find that they didn't entertain much that way. Now in one home, we left the dance floor but added french bistro cafe tables and chairs that could be moved when they wanted to use the floor to dance. In the end, the decision should be based on your lifestyle and what in the end will be an extension of it.

Later on, I had a Tarot reader give me a Tarot reading and an Aura reading as well. Mixed breed kitten. About 2 1/2 weeks ago my daughter found 3 kittens in her apartment house parking lot with no sign of mother cat around. plus the condition of the kitten suggest that they were removed from mother cat and dumped. My daughter thought they were new borns but upon examinting them their eyes are wide open, teeth were beginning to show and two were purring after feeding them. These three kittens were extremely malnourish and boney. I have never seen kittens in such horrible shape. I have been feeding them by bottle with the cat milk they sell in pet stores. They all were doing ok until a couple of days ago when one of them has refused to eat and I have gone back to using a medicine syringe giving it milk a little at a time. In other countries when banks repossess they have no right to go after anybody for the shortfall. It is a risk they took on by lending against a property. In the UK it is high time the law changed regarding this. The banks are a law unto themselves and this must change. I know Christians are suppose to keep thier yummies locked up tighter than a can of tomatoes with only a piece of dental floss to open them but in 2008 no one is going to give my parents 8 head of cattle and a good goat for a dowry so my question is on the dating scene(which I havn't been on in a long time) I have met a realy nice guy and don't want to make him turn blue in the face (Or anywhere else) but how long can I or should I put off giving out my yummies? I'm interested in what kind of clothes did men wear in Central Asia. It is said in my source that they wore 'white turbans and multicolored silk robes, that were so light that you could wear them on top of each other and the more you wear the richer you look'. It is also mentioned that it was a tradition to gift robe to another person. It can be any Central Asian country: Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan or North Pakistan, however I can't work out which country wore these clothes 100 years ago. The prices on ebay vary a lot. Mine is original, has 16 games, 2 controllers (although one is sticky), two driving paddles, and original adapter. I also have the connector to make it compatible with modern televisions. I saw one that somebody is asking 150 bucks for, and another for 180 (it's a "heavy sixer"), but some are 30-50 bucks. Errr i got a bad cold sore >_<;?

My mom and I get cold sores all the time. I hate them SO much. We both use an ointment called Zovirax. You need a prescription from your doc to get it but it works great. The source I have listed below says that it won't help prevent them which is true but if you notice one or think you are about to get one put a little bit on and on average for us they last about 3 days then sometimes less. Also a little goes a long way so don't waste it! :)

Literally less than 15 minutes away? Yes, it'd be a waste of money, but well worth it. I already lived in the dorms and it was an EXCELLENT experience I wouldn't trade for the world. I kind of can't stand my family (juvenile, I know). . . and I feel more grownup/independent. Plus I NEED the social push. I know if I still live at home I won't meet as much people. Plus, I have no car - transportation's a hle. Still a waste of money?

DO NOT LISTEN TO ANY OF THESE FOOLS! listen its like this. if your coming from cali, i think youll find the atmosphere COMPLETLY different! it is crowded during weekdays cuz everyone has somewhere to be. manhattan is very expensive, most likely your gonna have to find a roommate to live in a nice apartment. the dirtiness of the city, yes theyre is trash i alot of places, but all of this is changing little by little. since the global warming issues have arised, theres 2x more trashcans on every newyork city block. and people are cooperating so the trash will deff decrease by next year. as far as the dangers, who in theyr right mind would walk alone at 2 a.m. but best beleive youll never get robbed before 11. its also a great place to open oppurtinities for you and your family. and if your not married, its a great place to find somebody. thats IF your looking to live in manhattan. my suggestion is to go to queens. the people there are frendlier, and to get to the city, it takes 30 minutes on the subway. the apartments are also cheaper.

Self Injury: Do I need to seek medical help for recent cuts on my leg?

I cut myself with a one bladed Bic razor about two or three days ago (please don't preach to me about the harm of self-injury or tell me to stop - I'm well aware of this and have been engaging in S.I. for eight years and am in cognitive behavioral therapy and on a couple drugs for my depression so I don't need anymore help there) on the inside of my lower leg. It bled quite a bit - but this I'm used to. It still seems to be oozing a clear uncolored or yellowish liquid though that tends to be sticky and attract fibers from my clothing. Is this safe? Is it okay for the fibers to get stuck there? I'm picking them out but off comes a scab-like material as well, so I don't know if I'm doing more harm than good. Sorry if this is gross, I'm pretty desensitized to it now but this has never really happened to me before, I usual scab and heal up pretty quickly. Any advice regarding this injury would be appreciated, thank you for reading. <3

The difficulty of this poem is that it has a two part structure. The last six lines construct a chain of causality running backwards in time. Reversing it, it runs something like this: pains -> opium -> gains (loss of pain) -> losses (loss of wisdom) -> woes -> light (burning woes). This chain reaches up from the end of the poem, and ends in line three. Lines one and two express dejected sight, grieving for hopes of light. Thus the first two lines are directly connected, and the last six lines are directly connected, but these two parts are only connected by hope. Remarkably, the theme of this poem is not frustrated hope, but the concomitants of getting what one desires-- that light implies woes, pain, etc. To me, the condensation of this abstraction is remarkable, if I do not mistake your intent. But in that case, the plot of the poem, such as it is, becomes superfluous, and the novelistic details (soporifics, pains) carry the reader away from the thematic centre of the poem, where he does not find resolution. Incisive psychological poems are difficult to write. I would say you have made an admirable attempt, but I do not think the structure is well polished yet.

I've had severe clinical depression for many months. When my parents found out that I was having feelings of hopelessness, they told me to talk to them. I've never had a close relationship with them. I have been watching the special feature Ancient Aliens in the History Channel and I've had some questions that might be bordering on wild speculation, but I don't really know through which venue I should voice them out so I decided to try Yahoo Answers. Anyway, I've always been amazed with the ancient super structures that have lasted through thousands of years located around the globe, I've always thought that the Earth had gone through a lot of tectonic transformations through the ages that involved earthquakes, tsunamis, and global-wide flooding (ala-2012 movie). With Mesopotamian civilization finding root in 3100 BC (according to Wikipedia) and paleontological evidence pointing to prehistoric life that included the observation of primate development, among other organisms evolving through the ages, could there have been civilizations that were peaking/or at their climax in terms of advancement in the sciences/technology between the prehistoric era and the earliest recorded history as represented by Mesopotamia? If indeed land mes/continents are susceptible to inundations given overwhelmingly powerful tremors (tsunamis) then certainly advanced civilizations prior to Mesopotamia would have been wiped out around the globe. The only evidences left would be the chiseled stones of superstructures, which of course would eventually be weathered anyway during millions or at least thousands of years. If paper was even developed to try and record modern history then, we all know paper doesn't last long, especially when wet and worn out through the ages and explorers of the ancient worlds tampering with them wouldn't have helped preserve the relics anyway. Also, if this "fictional" civilizations I had in mind were able to harness electricity and even develop their own information structure similar to the Internet, then obviously traces of the structures and facilities that were built then would be hard to find if indeed the Earth was flooded to oblivion. I actually thought of these because of the Atlantean myths that have always been a topic for the curious and speculative. Anyway, before the question gets out of hand and sound crazier (I know it already borders on ridiculous) I guess the most realistic question that might serve as the first step for this wondering of mine is, "Are there pedological data that says otherwise?" and "Based on soil layers, can it be verifiable if the planet Earth had experienced mive flooding/inundations during a certain period of its 4.54 billion year history (according to Wiki)?" I would say that would be good for playing lower end games.However, if you plan on playing games like Crysis or any other graphical intense games, I would waiting till your budget is a bit larger. The law works like science. It's not what you think. It's what the evidence, the facts, point to. There just wasn't enough evidence to prosecute for anything more than maybe manslaughter, if that. There didn't seem to be any evidence besides here say to tie the mom with the daughter's death. Based on what was presented at trial, I'd have to give the same verdict as the jury did ...no matter how I felt about that verdict. The facts, honesty and my own personal integrity are more important than my opinion.

Death and a will left behind...?

My Father has a will from his Brother, (my Uncle). The only known will he had, states that everything he had, is to go to my Dad. He was then married, for 6 years. My Uncle ped away 2 years ago. His wife now has everything that was supposed to be left for my Dad. All of my Uncles belongings were in his will prior to marriage and now she will not give anything up. All the items I am referring to were family heirlooms. They need to remain in the family, not hers. She is re-marrying this week and I need to know if I have a case to get my Father the things that my Uncle left behind. Where would I even begin to speak with someone about this? I live in California. If I may be more clear: The will was created one year prior to my Uncle marrying her. They were married for 6 yrs. He ped away. She now says that since they were married after the will, that the will is now void. Well, I think that may be true to an extent. However, most items I am speaking of were the ones stated in my Uncle's will to be left to my Father. Does a marriage automatically void any prior will? This is all so confusing but were talking about items that have been in my familly for over 60-70 years. Handed down from my great-grandfather. The reason we have waited this long to bring this up is because we wanted the intial grieving process to subside before speaking of materialistic items. However, now she is re-marrying out of nowhere and this new man will now gain full access to these items. I also am doing this for my Father- meaning: I am not going to take the will in myself; just asking this question to know where I may lead him in the right direction. Thanks so much!

I hate the fact that Ridley Scott wants to make a replicant out of Deckard..... if you read the book you ll see that the Harrison Fords character is NOT a replicant, and it even goes further, Harrison Ford and E.J Olmos have both stated that Deckard should NOT be a replicant, but Scott include the unicorn scenes in a later cut and spoiled the movie for me (a movie and book that i love).... i know there is artistic freedom but to me is like making a film about the book Lolita, and portraying her as a 30 year old woman, it is just against the the esence of the plot
